United Way Seeks Musicians for Annual Celebration
United Way of the Mid-Willamette Valley is gearing up for our annual Campaign Celebration on Thursday, April 8th.  This is our annual event where community leaders from across Marion, Polk, and Yamhill Counties gather at the Salem Conference Center to celebrate our United Way achieving our annual workplace campaign goal.

This year we are wanting to make the event extra special for our community partners, volunteers, and leaders that have worked extra hard to meet our Campaign goal in spite of the current economic situation.  We are looking for a number of musicians and/or musical groups to share 15 minute segments of entertainment through out the evening.  All types of music are being considered: everything from solo instrumental music, to vocal a capella groups, to string quartets, jazz bands, or even rock groups.  Our goal is to provide a variety of musical entertainment options for our guests.

We can't offer financial compensation to any of our musical guests.  However we can promise 400+ local guests in attendance and we will give all performing musicians an in-kind donation letter/receipt.

The event is on Thursday, April 8th running from 5:30-8:30pm, with segments of music interspersed throughout the night.  Each group would only need to donate 15 minutes of performance time.  Student groups are welcomed and encouraged!

Please share this within your networks and have any interested individuals contact me at mtrowbridge@unitedwaymwv.org or 503-363-1651.

McKay High School Seeks Pianist to Help with Musical Production

As the vocal director has been called away from March 29-April, , they are also seeking someone who can come in and run through the vocal scores during this period to keep the students from losing any of the progress they have made.

If you are able to help in either of the above listed capacities, please contact Tiffany Carstensen at (503) 399-3080.
