FESTIVAL CHORALE OREGON

WILLAMETTE MASTER CHORUS
The Willamette Master Chorus continually seeks talented and dedicated singers in all sections. Auditions include prepared solos (classical or folk genres), sight-reading and vocalizations.

Rehearsals are Monday evenings, 7-9:15 pm, September through early May on the Willamette University campus. We have additional rehearsals the mornings of or the evening before each Saturday concert. Most auditions occur in late August, although the director will hear prospective chorus members throughout the season.

“RECKLESS”

Ya know, stuff happens, sometimes out of carelessness, sometimes with great intent.  On Christmas, Rachel’s husband confesses that he has taken out a contract on her life, but he’s changed his mind and she needs to get out of the house. This quirky, contemporary comedy takes Rachel on a journey of many years and through a series of unfortunate events:  She makes new friends, appears on a game show, sees numerous psychiatrists, and even briefly reunites with her husband.  In the end of this bittersweet fable, Rachel comes to terms with her sanity, her life, and the ghosts of Christmas, past and future.
